Our story

Owner: Tell the story in your own words: who opened Capelli and when, why the name (capelli is Italian for “hair”), and what you want every client to feel when she leaves.

Capelli is Italian for hair. Our salon is a few chairs, a shampoo area behind a partition wall Madison built by hand, a quiet room for facials and lashes, and a massage room with warm lamps and soft blankets.

Each of us keeps her own book and her own regulars, some for more than a decade. Between us we cover color and cuts, Brazilian Blowouts and perms, lashes and brows, facials, waxing and massage.

We’re part of Jasper, too. You’ll find us at the Butterfly Festival doing hair tinsel, painting our front window for the holidays, running a school-supply drive every August, and at the San Antonio hair show learning what’s new.
